The History of Casa Delauze
After 3 years of construction, Henri Germain Delauze inaugurated a magnificent stilt house in 1981: the Casa Delauze.
Located in an exceptional location between the Sofitel Vieux-Port and the Fort Ganteaume, the Casa Delauze is unique to Marseille.
Its interior, modeled after submarines, is as fascinating as the story of its owner: diving equipment, corals and souvenirs of exotic travels make it a museum in itself. The place offers a deep dive while still remaining on dry land!

This action man continued to search for elements of the underwater heritage until the end of his life with a small submarine and two support ships of his own design. He thus maintained the strong bond he had woven for seventy years with the « Grande Bleue ».
